Psychology and Sociology

Luke Zwalf, Head of Humanities

Psychology is the scientific study of mind and behaviour, attempting to explain a wide range of behaviours from clinical depression to causes of addiction. Students will study different psychological approaches and research methods to enhance their learning and will explore a variety of different units.

In Sociology, students will study a range of units which will allow them to explore the people they know and the society they live in, as well as other attitudes and societies.

Course combinations

Both of these courses work well when taken together and can be successfully combined with a wide range of other A Levels.
