The University's compact, centrally located campus means you're always close to what you need. All University accommodation is based on campus so you'll never need to walk more than five minutes to reach a lecture, visit the Students' Union or head to the library. Accommodation is very competitively priced and the University has some great new options offering on-site gyms, cinema rooms and en-suites.
Middlesbrough is one of the best value places to live in the UK and your money will go much further here than in lots of other university towns and cities. Just a few minutes’ walk from campus you’ll find quirky cafes, chilled out micro pubs, vintage clothes shops and an emerging collection of independent bars and retailers. The usual high street shops, museums, sports, restaurants, cinemas, clubs and parks are also close to hand. The coast and countryside are just a quick drive away if you want to soak up the great outdoors.
