Chris Burley, Tutor
Our Higher National Certificate (HNC) International Travel & Tourism Management offers students a broad introduction to the subject area via a mandatory core of learning, while allowing for the acquisition of skills and experience through the selection of optional units across a range of occupational sectors.
This effectively builds underpinning core skills while preparing the student for subject specialisation at Level 5. Students will gain a wide range of sector knowledge tied to practical skills gained in research, self-study, directed study and workplace scenarios. Students develop a broad knowledge and awareness of key aspects of travel and tourism through five core units, which include one unit assessed by a Pearson-set assignment.
The Higher National Certificate (HNC) International Travel & Tourism Management feeds directly into the Higher National Diploma (HND) International Travel & Tourism Management, allowing you to study the subject at a greater depth.
Travel and Tourism is one of the largest, most dynamic industries in the world. Tourism’s resilience makes it one of the most interesting and exciting sectors to obtain a management qualification.
