University of Sheffield

A world-class university – a unique student experience. Sheffield is a research university with a global reputation for excellence. We're a member of the Russell Group: one of the 24 leading UK universities for research and teaching. Take advantage of everything it has to offer and you won’t just graduate with honours – you’ll graduate with insight, skills and experience that set you apart. We're top in the north for graduate prospects. (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020)

Make Sheffield the start of something special. When you study here you get one of the best student experiences in the UK – and that's according to the people who matter most, our students. We're second in the Russell Group for student satisfaction (National Student Survey 2019), with our Students' Union voted best in the UK for the fourth year in a row (Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017).
